Fever stave off WNBA playoff elimination with incredible comeback over Dream

Fever Resume WNBA Season

The WNBA is back in action and while some things carried over through the season, others are new.

Caitlin Clark scored 29 points with 10 assists as the Indiana Fever resumed the WNBA season with an 83-78 win over the Atlanta Dream on Saturday.

The Fever, who entered the game in 11th place in the standings and on the outside of the playoffs, are now clinging to the final postseason spot.

High Stakes

The Fever trailed by 10 with less than three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, but they rallied to tie the game and force overtime.

In overtime, the Fever outscored the Dream 11-2 to secure the victory.

The win was the Fever's third in a row and their fifth in their last six games.

Rivalry Brewing

The rivalry that WNBA fans have been hoping to see between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese developed further Sunday afternoon as the Indiana Fever defeated the Atlanta Dream 88-83.

Clark, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, finished with 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Reese, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
