What is the Veterans World Cup?

The Veterans World Cup is an international football tournament for players over the age of 35. The tournament is held every four years, and the 2024 edition will be hosted by Wales.

The Wales Veterans Football Association (WVFA) is proud to be hosting the 2024 70/75 World Cup Tournament in Cardiff.

Who is playing in the tournament?

Some of Wales' best footballers over the age of 70 are aiming for global glory in the Veterans World Cup. Among them is a 76-year-old plasterer who could never get a game of football at school.

The tournament will feature teams from all over the world, including England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Germany, and Italy.

What are the charities being supported?

The tournament will be supporting the charities Dementia Wales and the British Heart Foundation, as well as grassroots football in Wales.

When is the tournament?

The tournament will be held from June 14-22, 2024.
