Adam Sandler's 'Happy Gilmore 2' Seeks New Jersey Extras

Calling all New Jersey residents!

A Netflix production is searching for background talent for a planned "Happy Gilmore" sequel starring Adam Sandler. Grant Wilfley Casting published an open casting call for extras in the greater New Jersey area.

How to apply:

• White male talent aged 18 and older is wanted as a photo double in the film.
• Talent must be between 5'9" and 5'11" with short dark hair and a beard.
• Those interested can apply by emailing their name, contact information, and a recent photo to extras@gwcnyc.com.

The casting call does not specify when filming will take place, but it is expected to begin sometime in the near future.

The original "Happy Gilmore" was released in 1996 and starred Sandler as a former hockey player who turns to golf to save his grandmother's house. The film was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $41 million at the box office.

Sandler has been attached to a "Happy Gilmore" sequel for several years, but the project has been delayed several times.
